With only a few major yearling auctions to go, perhaps it’s time to review and consider what shares we still have in our racing partnerships of 2024. 

There are just smaller shares in five of the eleven yearlings purchased this year. The three So You Thinks purchased from the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale have been very popular as they present chances to have real champions at sensible prices.

The most recent So You Think purchased at the Inglis Classic Sale represents even greater value of the same sire with the same chance of that champion, and there is just 15% left of him.

Of the remaining Magic Millions purchases, just 5% remains in both the Anders and Peltzer fillies. Both of these girls are at the breakers and moving forward with their career development.

The New Zealand purchases also have limited spaces left, with just 10% left in the “Crown Jewel of Karaka,”a filly by Cosmic Force from the proven producer Zadancer.

There is a slightly bigger percentage left in the filly by the first season sire Ancient Spirit from acclaimed White Robe Lodge nursery of the South Island of New Zealand. 

For those who are into rugby, the Super 12 season has just started, and the South Island teams of The Crusaders and The Highlanders highlight just how tough the creatures that hail from the South Island really are.
