Don’t Think Too Hard
An impressive son of legendary Group 1 sire So You Think from the Group 2-winning and stakes-producing Bernardini mare, Ruud Not Too (NZ). This colt shows the same athleticism as his sire and is primed to dominate on the track.
The upward trajectory in this colt’s pedigree is soaring at serious speed. By proven trans-Tasman Group 1 sire Proisir, he was purchased at enormous value just moments before his half-brother bolted in to win authoritatively on debut at Warwick Farm.
Trained by John Sargent, Royal Randwick.
Purchased for $240,000 from Pepper Tree Farm’s Magic Millions draft, this colt is by New Zealand’s reigning Leading Sire Proisir from the sharp three-time-winning mare Sororia (NZ).
Proisir has risen quickly through the ranks from an initial $12,500 service fee to the current $70,000 from his success as a leading sire, and is well on the way to replacing the likes of Sir Tristram, Zabeel and Tavistock as New Zealand’s past premier sires.
The physical nature of this colt, which will only continue to develop, is a clear measure of why Proisir has become so prominent so quickly.
Timing was on our side as we purchased this colt half an hour before his hitherto unraced half-brother Bullets High won authoritatively on debut at Warwick Farm, Sydney metro (watch replay).
With it all before him, Proisir has already left a remarkable legacy. He is the sire of six individual Group 1 winners, including Champions Levante, Prowess and Legarto.
Limited ownership opportunities are available to race him with DGR and Royal Randwick-based Group 1 trainer John Sargent. Get in touch with Duncan for more information.

A stunning filly from the first crop of Champion 2YO Golden Slipper winner, Stay Inside. This filly’s pedigree is elevated by her dam, Helix Park, a half-sister to stakes winner Outdo and stakes-placed Miraculous Miss. She has lovely fluidity about her, an extraordinary brain, and she looks to be of a very trainable type.
