2020 Wrap up

Wrap up

With 2020 wrapping up and Christmas just on the horizon, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their ongoing support this year.

It has, without a doubt, been an interesting year for everyone. Despite the restrictions surrounding Covid, I have made the most of 2020, purchasing horses at all major sales for a variety of excellent clients to post a “full house” sign on those 2020 acquisitions.

Business remains fluid and open, and in times of adversity, my experience, long term knowledge and a calm head come to the fore.

I’ve been busy inspecting yearlings in the Hunter Valley ahead of the highly anticipated Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and continue to work around restrictions and logistics relating to Covid.

I’m thoroughly looking forward to the 2021 yearling sale series and can’t wait to set my sights on the next generation of DGR champions. Who knows, the next So You Think, Saintly, Viewed, Faint Perfume, Norzita or First Seal could be amongst my subsequent purchases.

2020 has brought up a host of classy DGR purchased winners of all ages which have won over all distances. Memorable stakes-winning moments came with the feats of DGR purchased and/or managed gallopers Purple Sector, Ballistic Boy and Carif and it was particularly pleasing to see the consistency of results achieved by horses that I have purchased for clients nationwide.

I will be available to inspect and purchase horses throughout the year and welcome my current clients or any newcomers looking for an agent with the proven record of success to get in touch to talk through my process.

We will be listing yearling purchases on the brand new DGR Racing website in the New Year so be sure to keep an eye out on our ‘Current Offers’ page to become part of the winning DGR team.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Best wishes,
