Don’t Think Too Hard
An impressive son of legendary Group 1 sire So You Think from the Group 2-winning and stakes-producing Bernardini mare, Ruud Not Too (NZ). This colt shows the same athleticism as his sire and is primed to dominate on the track.

Bought in conjunction with highly successful trainers Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr, he was a $140,000 buy from Pencarrow Stud.
Offered as Lot 287, he is by Eminent from the three-time-winning High Chaparral mare La Adelita.
His dam has already produced a winner; her first foal Ginsburg who won as a spring three-year-old over 1400 metres.
This colt is from the second crop by dual hemisphere Group 1 performer Eminent (Frankel). He won the G2 Deauville Prix Guillaume d’Ornano and G3 Newmarket Craven Stakes before running second in the G1 ATC Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill.
High Chaparral mares have produced 56 individual stakes winners, incl. Group 1 winners Suavito, Coventina Bay, A Raving Beauty, Helene Paragon, Best of Days etc.
He’s in the make and shape of DGR’s best classic and staying horses and his price tag is certainly indicative of the quality that this colt possesses.
Ownership opportunities are available to race him with DGR and top Cranbourne-based trainers Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr.

A stunning filly from the first crop of Champion 2YO Golden Slipper winner, Stay Inside. This filly’s pedigree is elevated by her dam, Helix Park, a half-sister to stakes winner Outdo and stakes-placed Miraculous Miss. She has lovely fluidity about her, an extraordinary brain, and she looks to be of a very trainable type.
An impressive colt from the second crop of So You Think’s fast Group-winning sprinter/miler Peltzer. He is the second foal from the 4-time-winning Dash For Cash mare Miss Entice who has already produced current season 3YO stakes performer Statuario. He, too, is by a sire son of So You Think in D’Argento, so we already know this cross works and he’s a colt with plenty of size and scope.
Duncan's Comments
“From a farm that has a history of rearing Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup and Derby winners, this colt eminently reminds me of the type of horse required to achieve this feat. A target horse for us for that very reason, and we secured him to go into the Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr stable.”
