Don’t Think Too Hard
An impressive son of legendary Group 1 sire So You Think from the Group 2-winning and stakes-producing Bernardini mare, Ruud Not Too (NZ). This colt shows the same athleticism as his sire and is primed to dominate on the track.
Classic style of colt by Tavistock out of the Zabeel mare Miss la Frenz. Poised to be a Derby contender, he was purchased by Duncan from Westbury Stud’s NZB Book 1 draft for NZ$150,000.
Trained by John O’Shea
This colt is purpose-bred and subsequently built for the Classics and Derbies with a bright future looking towards the Cups. This a family we are very familiar with having raced Group Two winner Miss Gunpowder who features in this colt’s third dam.
Out of the winning Zabeel mare Miss la Frenz (who has produced two winners from three runners), he is bred on the magic Tavistock/Zabeel cross which has already produced Group One Derby winners Johnny Get Angry, Tarzino and Werther.
We look forward to this colt being our first racing venture with highly successful syndication company Champion Thoroughbreds. Once broken-in, this colt will join the stable of prominent Sydney trainer John O’Shea. We currently have three horses in work with John; all of which are winners with black-type targets on the cards for the prestigious ‘Championships’ this autumn.
This colt has now been named Safari Park.

A stunning filly from the first crop of Champion 2YO Golden Slipper winner, Stay Inside. This filly’s pedigree is elevated by her dam, Helix Park, a half-sister to stakes winner Outdo and stakes-placed Miraculous Miss. She has lovely fluidity about her, an extraordinary brain, and she looks to be of a very trainable type.
