This filly hails from a family that DGR’s Duncan Ramage and Phillip Stokes know all too well.
Duncan bred and managed her dam Think Out Loud and her dam’s Group 2-winning half-sister Miss Gunpowder. Phillip trained both mares to victory, and now, the opportunity has presented itself to emulate that success with an outstanding filly by All Too Hard.
Offered at Inglis Classic as Lot 151, she was a $160,000 buy from Tyreel Stud. She is the third foal from her So You Think dam, Think Out Loud who won or placed in five races.
Since the catalogue went to print, her half-sister Badda Boom Baby has won two races, including a dominant 2.3 length last start victory.
Her dam’s half-sister Miss Gunpowder won eight races, scoring impressive headline wins in the G3 MVRC Thousand Guineas Prelude and Listed BRC Hinkler Handicap.
All Too Hard was a dominant racehorse and is now one of Australia’s leading sires. His winners/runners strike rate sits and 69% and he has sired 22 individual stakes winners, including multiple Group 1 winners Alligator Blood, Wellington, Behemoth and Forbidden Love.
This filly’s damsire So You Think has well and truly announced himself as an emerging broodmare sire. His daughters have already produced Champion 2YO Golden Slipper winner Fireburn, plus international stakes performers Slevka and Caroline Street.

With loads of natural muscle, strength and a top pedigree on her side, this filly was a compelling buy for DGR’s Duncan Ramage. By the Group-winning Invincible Spirit stallion Ancient Spirit, she is from an impeccably related mare from one of New Zealand’s most distinguished nurseries.
A beautifully bred filly by exciting freshman So You Think stallion Peltzer. Her Not a Single Doubt dam was unbeaten as a juvenile and is already doing an excellent job at stud, producing a stakes-winning 2yo in Lord Cosmos.
